A PROCESS GUIDED BY YOUR NEEDS, NEVER BY OUR MOTIVES

01

Discovery

We listen. Not just to the numbers, but to your relationships, your hopes, your worries and the intentions behind them. This helps us understand you and what harmony looks like for your family

02

Collaboration

Together, we’ll clarify your intentions, surface the deeper considerations and refine the plan through open, honest conversations to shape a plan that honours the future you have in mind.

03

Implementation

We help you put the plan into motion— from legal documents to beneficiary structures that ensure your wishes hold up over time and your decisions stand firm when they’re needed most.

Preparing a Will

What is included in your Will Preparation service?

Our Will Preparation service includes a professionally drafted Will tailored to your circumstances, a personal consultation to understand your intentions, and guidance through the legal requirements to ensure your wishes are valid and enforceable.

No. Our professional estate planners can guide you through the process without involving a lawyer, while ensuring your instructions comply with Singapore law.

If you pass away without a valid Will, your assets will be distributed under the Intestate Succession Act. This may not reflect your intentions and can result in delays, misunderstandings or disputes among family members.

Costs vary depending on the complexity of your estate. Will writing at the Office of Legacy Creation starts at affordable rates, with transparent pricing for individuals and families.

The process typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of your estate and how promptly information is provided.

Yes. Your Will can be updated to reflect changes such as marriage, the birth of children, new property purchases or updates to your assets.

Lasting Power of Attonery

What is the purpose of a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)?

An LPA ensures decisions can be made on your behalf if you lose mental capacity, protecting your interests and reducing uncertainty during a difficult period

No. Anyone aged 21 and above should consider setting up an LPA. Accidents, unexpected illness or diagnosis can happen at any stage of life.

Yes. An LPA allows you to appoint separate donees for personal welfare decisions and for financial and property matters, depending on their strengths and your preferences.

No. You may appoint one or more, depending on your needs and level of trust in the individual or individuals involved

A Will takes effect after death. An LPA applies while you are alive but unable to make decisions due to mental incapacity. Both are essential parts of responsible planning.

There is a government application fee, which may be waived for Singapore citizens. The Office of Legacy Creation provides affordable guidance services to help ensure your application is completed correctly while utilising government grants or subsidies that may be available at the time of application.

Assets & Protection

Funeral Planning

What are the essential steps to planning a funeral in Singapore?

Key steps include deciding on the type of funeral, venue, religious or cultural practices, appointing a coordinator and informing loved ones. We help you document these decisions clearly and in advance.

At its heart, funeral planning is about treating those whom others have loved with dignity, kindness and respect — the same care you would want for your own family.

Yes. We help you plan how funds can be set aside or how insurance options may be used, reducing the financial burden on your family.

Costs depend on your preferences. We do not collect funds, but guide you in structuring a plan that aligns with your budget and wishes

Legacy Planning

What exactly is Legacy Planning?

Legacy Planning is a holistic approach to organising your wealth, values and end-of-life wishes, so your intentions are carried forward clearly and responsibly.

A Will addresses how assets are distributed after death. Legacy Planning integrates your Will with financial planning, personal values and long-term considerations.

Legacy Planning may include your Will, LPA, financial planning and funeral arrangements, aligned into a coherent and considered plan

Starting early gives you time to plan carefully, build and structure wealth, and prepare for uncertainties without being forced into rushed decisions.

Yes. We help incorporate philanthropy, including donations or trusts, aligned with causes that are important to you.
